JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Alex Oliveira answered questions at a media day ahead of his bout Randy Brown at UFC 261.
Oliveira (21-9-1 MMA, 11-7 UFC) meets Brown (12-4 MMA, 6-4 UFC) in a welterweight bout on Saturday’s preliminary card at VyStar Veterans Memorial Arena, and it will mark his 20th octagon appearance. “Cowboy” has had some ups and down in his journey but said he’s pleased where he’s at in his career, and with a victory is targeting a fight with former UFC champ Robbie Lawler.
Oliveira vs. Brown airs as part of the televised prelims on ESPN, which airs prior to the main card on ESPN+ pay-per-view.
