Bellator is back in Connecticut this week and the vacant middleweight title is up for grabs at the top of the bill.

Bellator 250 takes place Thursday at Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Conn. The main card airs on CBS Sports Network following prelims on MMA Junkie.

(Click here to open a PDF of the staff picks grid in a separate window.)

In the main event, former middleweight champion Gegard Mousasi (46-7-2 MMA, 4-1 BMMA) takes on welterweight champ Douglas Lima (32-7 MMA, 14-3 BMMA) for the vacant 185-pound title. Mousasi will attempt to reclaim the belt; Lima will try to become a simultaneous two-division titleholder. Mousasi is a -162 favorite at BetMGM Sportsbook, and he’s got a 9-5 edge in the picks from our 14 editors, writers, videographers and radio hosts.

In the co-feature, Henry Corrales (17-5 MMA, 5-5 BMMA) meets Brandon Girtz (16-9 MMA, 8-7 BMMA) at featherweight. Corrales is more than a 3-1 favorite, and all but one of our pickers are taking him to win.

And to open the main card, former women’s flyweight title challenger Veta Arteaga (5-4 MMA, 4-4 BMMA) takes on promotional newcomer Desiree Yanez (5-2 MMA, 0-0 BMMA). And though Arteaga is a slight favorite, Yanez has a big 11-3 lead in the picks.

In the MMA Junkie reader consensus picks, Mousasi (66 percent), Corrales (62 percent) and Yanez (70 percent) are the choices.

Check out all the picks above.
