ABU DHABI – Court McGee has been around the block, experiencing a lot over the span of his 13-year, 28-fight MMA career.
However, McGee (19-9 MMA, 8-8 UFC) said he experienced a first when preparing for his UFC on ESPN 16 fight Saturday vs. Carlos Condit. He’s been anxious and nervous for fights, but never actually excited – until now.
Amped up by the opportunity to fight the former interim UFC welterweight champion Condit (30-13 MMA, 7-9 UFC), McGee spoke on a number of different topics at a pre-fight news conference held Wednesday.
