A welterweight matchup is the latest addition to UFC on ESPN+ 41.
Daniel Rodriguez (13-1 MMA, 3-0 UFC) will face Bryan Barberena (15-7 MMA, 6-5 UFC) at the Nov. 14 event at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas.
Two people with knowledge of the matchup informed MMA Junkie of the booking Wednesday, but they requested anonymity since the promotion has yet to make an official announcement. MMA DNA was first to report the news.
Winner of nine in a row, Rodriguez is 3-0 since joining the UFC roster. He is coming off a come-from-behind knockout of Dwight Grant at UFC on ESPN 15 in August.
Barberena has split his past four appearances. After dropping back-to-back fights, he rebounded with a unanimous decision win over Anthony Ivy at UFC on ESPN+ 35 in September.
With the addition, the UFC on ESPN+ 41 lineup includes:
- Louis Smolka vs. Jose Quinonez
