Dean Barry has announced his planned matchup with Mike Jackson won’t be going down on its originally scheduled date.
Barry (3-1 MMA, 0-0 UFC) took to social media on Friday to reveal his welterweight showdown with Jackson (1-1 MMA, 1-1 UFC), originally set for UFC Fight Night on Jan. 20, won’t be coming to fruition on that date.
Additional details were not provided by Barry, but indicated it was issue with Jackson that caused the delay. Nevertheless, he expects the fight to still happen in the coming months (via Twitter):

Jackson confirmed Barry’s announcement that the fight is off on his social media. He did not provide reasoning, but wrote, “I’m blaming this one on 2020, despite the news coming out in 2021.”
