UFC Vegas 13 has taken a late hit.
The UFC announced Saturday that a middleweight bout between Brendan Allen and Ian Heinisch scheduled for tonight’s card at UFC APEX has been canceled due to “a positive COVID-19 test involving” Heinisch.
Allen was first to address the situation, announcing the cancellation on his Instagram:

Allen added that he hopes to schedule his next bout for sometime in 2021.
A featherweight bout between Giga Chikadze and Jamey Simmons has been promoted to the main card according to ESPN.
This is the second time that a bout between Allen and Heinisch has been canceled. The two were scheduled to fight at a UFC on ESPN show in June, but Heinisch withdrew from that bout due to injury.
