LFA 93 highlights: Aaron Jeffrey claims TKO win in Kansas

LFA 93 produced a night of competitive action from the Hartman Arena in Park City, Kansas, as Contender Series veteran Aaron Jeffrey continued his resurgence following his defeat at the UFC Apex last year.

Jeffrey (9-2) lost out to Brendan Allen via first-round submission on the Contender Series back in July 2019, but he has bounced back strongly since. That improved form continued Friday night at LFA 93 when he defeated previously-undefeated Andre Petroski (5-1) via second-round TKO to take his win streak to three as he claimed his seventh win from his last eight outings.

The night’s co-main event saw strawweight contender Sam Hughes (5-1) bounce back from her unsuccessful title challenge at LFA 85 by submitting Danielle Hindley (4-2) via guillotine choke on the buzzer at the end of Round 1.

Hughes lost out to Vanessa Demopolous for the LFA 115-pound title in July, but rebounded in style with an impressive submission finish in her 120-pound catchweight matchup.

The night also saw Pittsburgh middleweight Joshua Fremd (6-1) extend his win streak to four with a first-round finish of Antonio Jones (7-4).
