Oliver Enkamp looks to show that ‘The Future’ is ‘The Present’ at Bellator 248

Oliver Enkamp will look to make it three wins in a row Saturday when he steps into the Bellator cage in Paris, France at Bellator 248.

The Swedish welterweight departed the UFC after a two-fight stint that saw him suffer his first career defeats as he lost out to Nordine Taleb and Danny Roberts in May 2017 and March 2018 respectively. But, after signing for Bellator as part of their growing European roster, the fighter known as “The Future” is back on form.

Enkamp’s first two appearances inside the Bellator cage have produced first-round finishes, with his first-round submission of Walter Gahadza at Bellator 223 in June 2019 followed by a first-round spinning backfist knockout of Lewis Long at Bellator 240 in February 2020.

Now Enkamp (9-2 MMA, 2-0 BMMA) is targeting his third straight win under the Bellator banner, and he was in typically relaxed mood as he chatted to the media ahead of his bout with France’s Emmanuel Dawa (9-3 MMA, 0-0 BMMA).

Bellator 248 takes place Saturday at Accor Arena in Paris, France. The four-bout card precedes Bellator Europe 10 and streams live on CBS Sports Network and DAZN.
