ONE Championship 124’s Troy Worthen hails switch to Sanford MMA ahead of pivotal bout

ONE Championship bantamweight contender Troy Worthen has always been confident of his abilities inside the cage, but following his switch from Singapore’s Evolve MMA gym to Sanford MMA in Florida, that confidence has gone up a level.

The American returns to action Friday when he faces fellow contender Yusup Saadulaev at “ONE Championship 124: Collision Course,” which takes place at Singapore Indoor Stadium.

Ahead of the bout, Worthen (7-0) took part in a virtual media day session with ONE Championship’s Gianni Subba, where he discussed his change in camps, his upcoming matchup with Saadulaev, and his assessment of the past year after a turbulent, but ultimately successful, year for the 27-year-old.
