A light heavyweight matchup is being targeted for December.
Multiple people with knowledge of the promotion’s plans confirmed to MMA Fighting that a bout between Ovince Saint Preux and Jamahal Hill has been added to the UFC’s event on Dec. 5. The fight card is scheduled to take place at the UFC APEX in Las Vegas.
Cageside Press was the first to report the booking.
Saint Preux will look to make it three straight victories at 205-pounds. “OSP” submitted Michał Oleksiejczuk at UFC Copenhagen in September 2019 and made his 2020 debut in the heavyweight division, dropping a split decision to Ben Rothwell in May. The former interim title challenger returned to his home at 205 at September’s UFC Vegas 9 event and knocked out Alonzo Menifield in the second round.
On Wednesday, the 37-year-old revealed via Twitter that he signed a new contract with the UFC.

Hill has won all eight of his professional bouts, including both of his octagon appearances. After earning a contract on Dana White’s Contender Series in July 2019, “Sweet Dreams” earned a unanimous decision over Darko Stosic in January at UFC Raleigh. In his most recent bout, Hill opened up a lot of eyeballs with a devastating finish of Klidson Abreu in under two minutes at UFC on ESPN 9 in May.
The UFC’s Dec. 5 event will be headlined by a pivotal middleweight showdown between Jack Hermansson and Darren Till.
