TUF vet, ex-Titan FC champ Uros Jurisic signs with KSW

The Ultimate Fighter: American Top Team vs Blackzilians

Polish MMA powerhouse KSW has signed former Titan FC welterweight champ Uros Jurisic to a multi-fight contract.

Promotion officials confirmed the signing with MMA Fighting on Wednesday. Jurisic’s debut is not yet scheduled.

“I can’t wait to make that walk to the KSW cage,” Jurisic said in a prepared statement. “I have worked hard all my career to become a champion from a huge organization like KSW. I feel like I can make KSW my true home, and I will ensure to deliver for the KSW fans!”

Jurisic, a veteran of The Ultimate Fighter 21 as a member of American Top Team, most recently appeared in the Bellator cage, where he submitted Walter Gahadza in the first round at Bellator 247 to extend his current winning streak to six bouts.

The Ljubljana, Slovenia native previously held the Titan FC welterweight belt, but was stripped of the title due to a year-plus layoff from an unknown medical issue. His former TUF teammate, Michael Graves, was subsequently promoted from interim to undisputed welterweight champ, and his contract with Titan was terminated.

Jurisic has a plan to pick up a new belt in his new promotional home. He joins a weight division currently topped by with 18-3 champ Roberto Soldic, who’s twice held the title and has defended once in his second reign.

“I believe I am the very best welterweight on the KSW roster!” Jurisic said. “Anyone believes different, we can solve it in the cage like true sportsmen.”
