The penultimate event of the UFC’s current “Fight Island” stretch took place Saturday with UFC on ESPN+ 38 at Flash Forum at Yas Island in Abu Dhabi. The entire lineup streamed on ESPN+.
The main event saw Brian Ortega (15-1 MMA, 7-1 UFC) re-emerge as a featherweight title contender when he shut down Chan Sung Jung (16-6 MMA, 6-3 UFC) over five rounds to win a unanimous decision and get his hand raised for the first time in more than two years.
