The musical chairs of UFC Vegas 16’s main event has come to an end, and the promotion has a new poster with the latest headlining attraction.
Top middleweight Jack Hermansson was originally scheduled to face Darren Till in a five-round main event on Dec. 5 in Las Vegas. Then, he agreed to face Kevin Holland after “The Gorilla” suffered an injury. When Holland fell out due to a positive COVID-19 test, he agreed to the recent switch on one week’s notice with Italy’s Marvin Vettori stepping in.
“The Joker” Hermansson (21-5) tries to keep the momentum going after tapping Kelvin Gastelum in just 78 seconds on Fight Island in July, while “The Italian Dream” Vettori (15-3-1) aims to go 4-0 since his split decision loss to current champion Israel Adesanya.
