Trevin Giles has a problem with decisions.
That’s why the hard-hitting middleweight did everything possible to finish his fight with Bevon Lewis at UFC Vegas 13 and he ultimately delivered a third-round knockout.
After establishing a nasty jab in the first two rounds, Giles unleashed a barrage of punches that put Lewis down and out with the end coming at 1:26 into the final round as the Houston police officer earned his third stoppage victory in the UFC.
“I feel great. Just happy to be right here,” Giles said after his second consecutive win. :He couldn’t deal with my speed. My jab is probably the greatest jab in the UFC.
“I like to finish. My last fight was a decision. That’s not usually my thing to get decisions. When the third round came, I don’t push for decisions.”
TKO from a barrage of punches! @TrevinGiles closes the prelims with an exclamation point ❗️

Giles isn’t lying about his jab as he continuously punished Lewis with that punch throughout the fight. He had Lewis on his back foot trying playing defense almost from the first exchange in the opening round.
The domination continued all the way into the third round but Giles had no desire to get the judges involved even if he would have won a decision.
The ending sequence began with a left-jab from Giles that put Lewis against the cage and that eventually led to the finish. Once Giles had Lewis in trouble he just opened up with a series of brutal hooks that eventually put a stop to the contest.
Now 4-2 in the UFC, Giles continues to prove he’s growing and evolving with his fight game and he’s going to be a problem for anybody facing him at 185 pounds.
