LAS VEGAS – It didn’t take long Friday for a long-awaited welterweight grudge match to become official.
Tyron Woodley (19-5-1 MMA, 9-4-1 UFC) was the first fighter to the scale for the UFC on ESPN+ 36 official weigh-ins, and he hit the non-title limit of 171 pounds. Not long after, his opponent, heated rival Colby Covington (15-2 MMA, 10-2 UFC), was 171, as well.
