Video: Khabib wants to make Junior Dos Santos vs. Fedor Emelianenko. Is that a good fight?

Khabib Nurmagomedov the promoter hit us with a bombshell last week.

Prior to Eagle FC 47, Nurmagomedov said he wants to book a fight between Junior Dos Santos and Fedor Emelianenko. That sounds … kind of good? But there are hurdles, of course.

First of all, Nurmagomedov’s tease came two days before JDS, a former UFC heavyweight champion, would go on and lose by injury stoppage TKO to Yorgan De Castro in the Eagle FC 47. Then there’s the matter of Emelianenko under contract with Bellator for one more fight, which is supposed to be his retirement fight, although when, where and against whom that will take happen is still up in the air. Bellator president Scott Coker is always talking about how he’s down for cross-promotion, so maybe this works.

How do we feel about JDS vs. Fedor? Our “Spinning Back Clique” panel of Brian “Goze” Garcia, Mike Bohn and Danny Segura answer that question with host “Gorgeous” George Garcia.
