After lengthy USADA suspension, UFC 261’s Stefan Sekulic clears air on using banned substances

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Stefan Sekulic answered questions at a media day ahead of his bout with Dwight Grant at UFC 261.

Sekulic (12-3 MMA, 0-1 UFC) meets Grant (10-3 MMA, 2-2 UFC) in a welterweight bout on Saturday’s preliminary card at VyStar Veterans Memorial Arena, and it will be his first fight since September 2018. Sekulic was suspended by the U.S. Anti-Doping Agency for two years for using multiple banned substances, and ahead of his comeback fight, he explained his error in judgement and what he’s learned for his comeback.

Sekulic vs. Grant airs as part of the televised prelims on ESPN, which airs prior to the main card on ESPN+ pay-per-view.
