Bella Mir, 19-year-old daughter of former UFC champ Frank Mir, books third pro MMA fight

Bella Mir will resume her MMA career after an 18-month hiatus from competition.

Mir (2-0), who is the daughter of former UFC heavyweight champion Frank Mir, will compete in her third professional fight June 24 at Xtreme Fight Night 381.

XFN 381 takes place at The Cove in Tulsa, Okla., and is set to stream live on UFC Fight Pass.

Mir, 19, made her MMA debut in October 2020 as a 17-year-old. She won her first fight by unanimous decision, then made a two-month turnaround and won her second contest by submission in less than two minutes.

It’s been a break since then, though. Mir has focused on school and competing in amateur wrestling, where she is ranked among the top in her home state of Nevada.

Mir does not yet have an opponent set for XFN 381, her representatives at First Round Management told MMA Junkie, but details are expected to be finalized shortly. The fight is likely to take place in the women’s bantamweight division.

Although her father Frank Mir recently has competed in combat sports, he told MMA Junkie this past summer that seeing his daughter flourish in her own career is his primary focus, and he expects big things out of her.

“I’m not going to say anything people would not expect from me as a father,” Mir said. “But in about three years, everybody is going to know who she is.”
