Impa Kasanganay releases statement after scary KO loss at UFC Fight Island 5

Impa Kasanganay is keeping a positive attitude after suffering the first loss of his career.

The previously unbeaten middleweight ended up on the wrong end of one of the most amazing knockouts in UFC history after being caught with a leaping spinning kick to the face by Joaquin Buckley at UFC Fight Island 5 on Saturday.

Kasanganay’s frightening fall was just as memorable as the maneuver itself, but fortunately it sounds like he isn’t faring too badly in the aftermath. He shared a message on Instagram later in the evening, complimenting Buckley and stating that he’s looking forward to fighting again.
