Karl Roberson knows he has to ‘stay off the ground’ against Brendan Allen at UFC 261

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Karl Roberson answered questions at a media day ahead of his bout Brendan Allen at UFC 261.

Roberson (9-3 MMA, 4-3 UFC) meets Allen (15-4 MMA, 3-1 UFC) in a middleweight bout on Saturday’s preliminary card at VyStar Veterans Memorial Arena, and he said he’s looking for the knockout victory against an opponent with a lengthy frame. To do that, though, he said he must stay out of grappling scenarios.

Roberson vs. Allen airs as part of the televised prelims on ESPN, which airs prior to the main card on ESPN+ pay-per-view.

Listen to Roberson discuss the matchup with Allen and more in the video above.
