Nate Diaz took a couple of shots at Dustin Poirier on Thursday night before leaving a parting thought with longtime rival Conor McGregor.
Diaz took to Twitter in another attempt to build a potential fight with Poirier, the No. 1 ranked lightweight in MMA Fighting’s global rankings. The two were scheduled to square off at UFC 230 in November 2018 before Poirier was forced to withdraw with a hip injury.
I knew you was a pussy bitch that’s 2-0

Earlier in the week, it seemed as if both fighters were on the same page about rescheduling their matchup, with Poirier putting it out there first. Of course, Diaz agreed with the top contender for Charles Oliveira’s 155-pound title.

After Diaz fired his shot on Thursday, Poirier—who is coming off of back-to-back TKO finishes of McGregor—called attention to the business practices of the UFC, suggesting the promotion isn’t being exactly honest in regards to putting a potential fight together between the two.
They’re lying and you’re getting played

In his most recent fight, Diaz lost a unanimous decision to Leon Edwards at UFC 263 in May. The Stockton native has dropped three of four, which includes dropping a razor close majority decision to McGregor at UFC 202, a decision win over Anthony Pettis at UFC 241, and a third-round doctor’s stoppage TKO loss to Jorge Masvidal in the main event of UFC 244 for the “BMF” title.
In response to Poirier, Diaz provided a reminder that he refuses to conduct business on the UFC’s terms, they do it on his.
Boss the fuck up quit being a lil bitch
I do what I want

In the early hours of Friday morning, Diaz provided an apparent parting shot towards his two-time opponent in McGregor, who suffered a broken tibia at the end of the first round in his second straight loss to Poirier at UFC 264 in July.
Hahahahah continue going, I am entertained.
