A middleweight clash is set for UFC Fight Island 7.
Nassourdine Imavov and Phil Hawes are targeted to square off Jan. 16 on Yas Island in Abu Dhabi. MMA DNA was the first to report the news and MMA FIghting’s Mike Heck confirmed it.
Nassourdine Imavov (9-2) is looking for his second UFC win in a row after defeated Jordan Williams via unanimous decision at UFC Fight Island 4 earlier this year.
Phil Hawes (9-2) is also eyeing a two-fight UFC win streak after defeating Jacob Malkoun with a first-round knockout in 18 seconds at UFC 254.
A featherweight showdown between former UFC champion Max Holloway and Calvin Kattar is set to headline the event.
