UFC flyweights Taila Santos and Maryna Moroz will collide on Dec. 5 in Las Vegas, multiple sources confirmed to MMA Fighting on Friday. Combate first reported the booking.
Santos (16-1), who lost a split decision to Mara Romero Borella in her UFC debut, scored the biggest win of her MMA career on Fight Island in July, defeating former Cage Warriors flyweight champion Molly McCann via decision.
Moroz (10-3) enters the octagon for the ninth time after back-to-back decision victories over Sabina Mazo and Mayra Bueno Silva. The 29-year-old Ukrainian fighter also holds a UFC win over Joanne Calderwood.
The Fight Night event will take place at Las Vegas’ UFC APEX and feature Jack Hermansson vs. Darren Till in a middleweight headliner.
