That time Ion Cutelaba took off his shirt to flex during his media day interview

LAS VEGAS – If there is doubt that Ion Cutelaba is ready to get back in the cage, he can do something to prove he is.

Cutelaba (16-6-1 MMA, 5-5-1 UFC) had his light heavyweight fight against Ryan Spann (19-7 MMA, 5-2 UFC) delayed from March because of a Spann injury. But the matchup stayed together and will be the co-main event at UFC on ESPN 36 on Saturday.

“Everything is great. That’s the way it’s supposed to be. I actually had more time to get ready, so everything’s good,” Cutelaba said through a translator at Wednesday’s UFC on ESPN 36 media day.

Then he went off on his own.

“Hey guys, I’m ready now. Really,” Cutelaba said before tearing off his shirt on the dais to flex. “I’m f*cking ready.”

UFC on ESPN 36 takes place Saturday at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas. The main card airs on ESPN2 and streams on ESPN+ following prelims on ESPN2/ESPN+.
