On a Saturday night filled with memorable performances, the flyweight headliners topped them all.

Deiveson Figueiredo and Brandon Moreno put on one of the greatest flyweight fights in history and were part of a championship bout that will go down as one of the best ever in the UFC. Though neither man had their hand raised after the fight was scored a majority draw (meaning Figueiredo successfully retained his UFC title), both will be leaving the UFC APEX in Las Vegas with an extra $50,000 after earning the UFC 256 Fight of the Night award.

Performance of the Night bonuses went to middleweight Kevin Holland and lightweight Rafael Fiziev.

Holland won his fifth fight in seven months and completed a perfect 2020 campaign with an unbelievable knockout of longtime middleweight contender Ronaldo “Jacare” Souza. “Trail Blazer” somehow found enough leverage to land a KO blow off of his back to record a finish that will undoubtedly land on several year-end “best of” lists.

Fiziev won his first Performance of the Night bonus, out-striking Renato Moicano before putting him away with a rapid-fire combination late in the first round.
