UFC 257: Dustin Poirier vs. Conor McGregor 2 trailer will get you hyped for rematch

With UFC 257 right around the corner, the promotion has dropped the pay-per-view event’s official trailer.

The video, which features headliners Conor McGregor and Dustin Poirier, artistically walks fans through the two fighters’ history together from their 2014 matchup to current day.

The highlight begins with the lead-up to UFC 178, which hosted their first fight won by McGregor after a whole load of trash-talking in the buildup.

Since that time, both men have gone in separate directions. McGregor went on to win the UFC featherweight title and then the lightweight title, but vacated both without defending them because of inactivity.

As for Poirier, he won the interim UFC lightweight title in 2019 but was unable to claim the undisputed championship against Khabib Nurmagomedov.

You can watch the trailer in the video above.

UFC 257 takes place Jan. 23 and is expected to be on “Fight Island” in Abu Dhabi. The main card streams on pay-per-view after prelims on ESPN/ESPN+.

The current UFC 257 lineup includes:

  • Dustin Poirier vs. Conor McGregor
