Less than 24 hours after a profane callout of Conor McGregor, YouTube personality Jake Paul dragged the former two-division UFC champ’s longtime teammate and coach Dillon Danis into the feud with a drive-by water balloon attack.
In a video posted to his Twitter account, Paul is seen in the back of a truck as it drives up to a group of people filming on a street. He then begins throwing water balloons, and a man who appears to be Danis runs up, dodging other items thrown as he closes distance. Before Danis can catch up, the truck speeds away, with Paul yelling obscenities at the Bellator fighter.

“Hey look, it’s Conor McGregor’s b*tch right there,” yells Paul, who called out the former UFC champ after his second professional boxing fight, a viral knockout of Nate Robinson in the co-headliner of Tyson vs. Jones Jr. this past month. “P*ssy. F*ck you, b*tch! You’re a b*tch!”
Danis’ reps did not immediately respond to a request for comment. The jiu-jitsu specialist most recently fought in June 2019 at Bellator 222, where he earned his second pro MMA win with a first-round armbar.
Danis has a history of clashing with McGregor’s enemies – and being targeted by them. Prior to McGregor’s blockbuster showdown with Khabib Nurmagomedov at UFC 229, he attacked the UFC lightweight champ in interviews. After Nurmagomedov beat McGregor by submission, he famously jumped over the octagon and attacked Danis, starting a brawl that led to suspensions for the champ, McGregor, Danis and their teammates.
A confrontation involving Artem Lobov and Nurmagomedov that ended in the champ slapping McGregor’s longtime teammate led to McGregor’s infamous bus attack prior to UFC 223 that left multiple people injured and McGregor under arrest.
It’s unclear if Paul’s latest provocation will lead to another physical escalation. The Irish star is currently training for his rematch with UFC 257 and has yet to comment on the YouTube star’s outbursts.
Paul has already attracted the attention of McGregor’s rival, Nate Diaz, who said “u need to get your ass beat for free” in a short Twitter spat.
