Jan Blachowicz is receiving a lot of love from the UFC’s first Polish champion.
Following Blachowicz claiming the light heavyweight title with a second-round TKO of Dominick Reyes in Saturday’s UFC 253 co-main event, former strawweight champion Joanna Jedrzejczyk recorded an ecstatic message of celebration for her countryman.

“F*ck yeah, the new champ, ladies and gentleman!” Jedrzejczyk exclaimed. “F**king Jan Blachowicz! Yeah! Legend. Legend.”
Blachowicz is now just the third man in the past nine years to hold the UFC’s 205-pound title. The other two are Daniel Cormier and Jon Jones, the latter of whom vacated the belt in August during a public pay dispute with the UFC and the possibility of a move up to heavyweight.
Back in March 2015, Jedrzejczyk became the first fighter from Poland to claim UFC gold when she defeated Carla Esparza by second-round TKO. She went on to successfully defend the belt five consecutive times before losing it to Rose Namajunas at UFC 217. Since then, she has been featured in three other UFC title fights.
