Jon Jones had an unexpected and unwelcome encounter on Sunday evening.
The UFC star shared a video on Instagram that shows a person approaching vehicles outside of what appears to be Jones’ residence. It’s unclear what the person’s intentions are, but according to Jones he had to chase this person away and he “ended up tapping on this guy’s driver side window with the muzzle of my shotgun.”

The end of the scene as Jones describes it is not presented in the video, but one can see a figure presumed to be Jones emerging from a garage and running after the person in question with the aforementioned shotgun.
Jones’ caption also includes a word of advice as well as a question as to how else he might have handled the situation.
“Next time you try to rob someone, make sure you’re fast enough to outrun them. He’s lucky I’m smart enough not to shoot a man while he’s retreating. People, I know times are getting hard but your life isn’t worth a few material possessions.
“What are your thoughts on this video, what would you have done differently?”
