Video: Jon Jones says he’s not going back to light heavyweight. Believe him?

For all intents and purposes, former UFC champion Jon Jones got bored with the light heavyweight division, and that’s why he’s moving up to heavyweight – apparently for good.

Jones made that clear when he said he has “no intentions of ever going back to light heavyweight,” a division he’s ruled for almost a decade since his first title win over “Shogun” Rua in March 2011. But he’s turning the page and looking forward to bigger fights, both literally and figuratively, and seems intent on claiming the heavyweight title and defending it to close out his career. Of course, Jones has been feuding with middleweight champion Israel Adesanya, who’s challenging Jan Blachowicz for the light heavyweight belt on March 6, and should “The Last Stylebender” claim Jones’ old crown, that could make things interesting.

But would it make Jones reconsider? Do you believe he is truly finished fighting at 205 pounds for good? Our “Spinning Back Clique” panel of Mike Bohn, Farah Hannoun, and Brian “Goze” Garcia weighed in during this week’s episode.

You can watch in the video above.
