As is the case with most weekends in 2022, the first one of May is jam-packed with high-level MMA action.
Three major promotional title fights are included in the mayhem, with UFC lightweight champion Charles Oliveira, UFC women’s strawweight champion Rose Namajunas, and Bellator heavyweight champion Ryan Bader all putting their gold belts on the line.
On Friday at Bellator 280, Bader rematches rival Cheick Kongo four years after their first meeting ended in a controversial no contest. A day later, Oliveira takes on Justin Gaethje in the UFC 274 main event Saturday, one fight against Namajunas tries to retain her title against Carla Esparza.
